Katrin Hilbe
Welcome Friends and Theatergoers,

ManyTracks is a new venture with a commitment to engaging, mind-provoking theatre that values asking questions over providing answers. After many years working as a director I decided to step into producing shoes and seek creative projects that speak to my particular, perhaps wonky theatrical sensibilities.

It is in a way an extension of my life as a director. Since its inception, Spring of 2009, ManyTracks has laid the groundwork for two valiant projects, which are ongoing; Hayley Heaton’s - The Man in the Newspaper Hat, and Georg Büchner - Danton’s Death.

While ManyTracks is at this point very much centered around its founder, its goal is to include a creative team, which will inform and enrich its artistic vision in the future. These are still baby steps.

Please look around, check in, see our shows, and tap into the ongoing activities. ManyTracks is a part of the Independent Theatre community, and when we don’t have performances going on, we are writing, creating and communicating with our peers and our audience.

So read on, and keep in touch!
Sincerely,

Katrin Hilbe,
Founder and Director

THE MAN IN THE NEWSPAPER HAT
by Hayley Heaton

After several rewrites and readings, The Man is finally ready for relaunch. Opening November 17, 2011 for a five-week run in Seattle!

Just in time for the Elizabeth Bishop Centennial, ManyTracks is co-producing with Theatre Lexicon to create a powerful experience around the controversial poet Ezra Pound at the mental asylum of St.Elizabeths, battling with Elizabeth Bishop about “good” poetry as his inner world begins to shift.
